Collin Haynes -Execuitve Vice President of Columbia Union College 2007-2008

On behalf of Collin Haynes for Executive Vice President Campaign I would like to thank everyone for the effort you made this year toward selecting your new Student Association Officers for the 2007-2008 year.
This year we saw many students express how they feel the school should be better and now it is up to us as student leaders to answer the call and work together for the prosperity of everyone. This year my theme was “Strength in Diversity” because as I look around CUC I see many groups of students of different talents and backgrounds and they are using these talents in areas of spirituality, athletics and academics. I would like to work with all of these students and ensure that we get quality spirituality, athletics and academics.
I also intend to make your senators available to you because they are here to help the student body. As a veteran in the senate I felt that we worked hard on issues but we did not challenge Administration with the proposals and come up with better ways for communication on the effectiveness of our proposals. I would like for us to find an appealing way to work with Administration and the Student Association.
Finally I want to be able to develop good relationships with the students, staff and faculty of CUC. I want them to feel comfortable approaching me, visiting the SA office and challenging me with issues of interest. I am vowing to work for the students under all circumstances to bring about change and satisfaction to the student body.
Special Thanks to God for giving me this opportunity to be of service to CUC, my family for their support and all my family at CUC who have supported me with words of encouragement along the way. NOW LET’S GET TO WORK!!!!!
